Dr. Eric Xu, the founder, won the "Magnolia Memorial Award" of Shanghai in 2020

At 3 p.m. on September 16, 2020, the awarding ceremony of 2020 Shanghai "Magnolia Memorial Award" was held in Jing'an Shangri La Hotel. Dr. Eric Xu, founder of Cascade Pharmaceuticals, Inc, won the "Magnolia Memorial Award" of the year.

Established in 1989, the "Magnolia Memorial Award" is the highest Honorary Award established by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government in the name of Shanghai flower Magnolia in order to commend and thank foreigners who have made positive contributions to Shanghai's foreign exchanges and urban development. This year, 50 outstanding foreigners from 19 countries won the award. The winners come from many fields, such as economy and trade, finance, scientific research, education, culture, health, sports and so on. They have injected strong vitality into Shanghai's economic construction and urban development, built bridges and created opportunities for cooperation and exchanges between Shanghai and other countries in the world.

Zhang Xiaosong, director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's government, and other leaders of the Municipal Office of the CPC Committee presented medals and certificates to the award-winning foreign friends.
